Match report: 1st XI edge a thriller vs Oakley

What a finish. Chasing 187, the 1st XI got home with two balls to spare thanks to a brilliant unbeaten 64 from Raj and some cool heads at the death.

Huge thanks to everyone who came down to support — that's three wins on the bounce. Onwards to Saturday!

Colts coaching is back on Friday nights

Colts coaching restarts this Friday at 6pm. All abilities welcome, from first-timers to county hopefuls.

New players can come along for a free taster session — just bring trainers, a water bottle and plenty of energy. Parents, there's tea and coffee in the pavilion.

Clubhouse decking is finished — come and see

The new pavilion decking is finished and it's the perfect spot to watch a game with a drink in hand.

A massive thank you to the volunteers who gave up their weekends to build it. Come and try it out at the next home match.

Volunteers wanted: Saturday teas & scoring

A club runs on its volunteers, and we'd love a few more hands.

  • Saturday teas: join the rota — roughly once a month.
  • Scoring: full training given, no maths degree required.

Even one Saturday a season helps. Add your name to the list in the pavilion or message the club.

Annual membership subs are now due

Membership subs for the new season are now due. Renewing keeps you playing, voting at the AGM, and supporting the club.

You can pay online or hand it to the treasurer at the clubhouse. Any questions, just ask — and thank you for keeping Riverside going.

Lost: a Gray-Nicolls bat left in the pavilion

A Gray-Nicolls bat was left in the pavilion after last Saturday's game. It's behind the bar for safe keeping — let us know if it's yours and describe the grip!
